What Veteran Presence means
Veteran presence is a real thing in basketball, and it was never about age. A veteran knows his game and plays inside it. He knows his role, and he doesn't need the offense built around him to matter. He's watched enough basketball to see a bad possession coming before it happens, and he knows when a game needs somebody to settle it down.
That's who this league is made of. Guys with history. Guys who are established. Guys who can still play. The founding season is a league of almost nothing but veteran presence — which is exactly how we wanted it.
